Who wants one luxury 3bed villa within walking distance of the beach, Atlas and Finns and with a TV room when you can have two?

You’ll love Karang Marton 6bed villas  – this is two 3bed villas (only 100 metres apart).  They are spot on the right location to enjoy what Berawa has to offer. You want to walk to the beach, party at Atlas or Finns? You’ve got it. You want to enjoy the best brunch in town – yes, in walking distance? You’ve got it. (We recommend the Sage Mushroom Scramble at Lusa by Suka or the Truffle omelette, stracciatella at Margaret Bistrot). You want to fit up to 15 people in both villas? You’ve got it! (There is also a Western supermarket – namely Frestive –a spa, a grass area for running and exercise and many boutiques for shopping within walking distance).

Both villas have a TV room with smart TV, while villa Marton also has a pool table and a portable massage bed. Villa Karang boasts an inside exotic garden and a waterfall. Needless to say, they feature private pools, living rooms (the living room at villa Marton has a 2nd smart TV in addition to the TV room), dining areas and fully equipped kitchens.

Plenty of room for everyone

Sleepwise, there are 6 king size bedroom suites (3 per villa) all with en-suite luxury bathrooms. 3 out of the 6 king size bedrooms can be converted into twin bedroom suites. Villa Marton can sleep up to 8 people with 2 extra beds in 2 rooms, while two of the bedroom suites can be converted into twin bedrooms (2 single beds each). Villa Karang can sleep up to 7 people. We can place an extra bed either in the TV room or in one of the bedrooms. Also, here one king size bedroom suite can be converted into a twin bedroom (2 single beds).

All bedroom suites have ACs, ceiling fans, closets, deposit boxes and side tables. Two bedrooms in villa Karang also have smart TVs. The en-suite bathrooms at Villa Marton feature both freestanding bathtubs and showers, while at villa Karang, they have showers.

The neighbourhood:

You are in the centre of the action. Try to take full advantage of it. Regardless of preferences or group composition – family or friends, singles or couples – there is something to fit every taste.

Brunch choices are endless. Try the Milu by Nook Eggs Benedict or take advantage of the 50K IDR breakfast offered all day at Lusa by Suka. Hungry Bird does great coffee and has value for money breakfast. Nude is a must from breakfast to dinner. We do recommend the poke bowl even for brunch.

You will definitely not run out of choices when it comes to lunch or dinner. If you are a fan of Japanese sushi, value for money Sushimi and Tygr are a go to or you can try the more prestigious Indigo. Milk n Madu does great pizzas – do take advantage of the daily offers – and combines it great with live music. For pizza also try the Italian: La Baracca and Bottega Italiana. Lola’s Cantina Mexicana does some cool tacos and cocktails combo offers – do try the margaritas. For a more upmarket experience head over to Riviera Bistro, Miss Fish and Kong. Miss Fish and Riviera also know how to throw a good party. Other party options include Morabito by the beach – that often has DJ events – and of course Finns Beach Club and Atlas Beach Fest.

For families, we do recommend the playground at Tamora Gallery, Made’s Warung and Parklife. There is always Bounce and Splash at Finns. Now, if you are willing to go a bit further, try Mookiland bounce area in Kerobokan. For younger kids, there are a lot of kids’ clubs including Cubby House Kids Club as well as Made’s Warung and Parklife’s kids’ clubs. Some kindergartens such as The Garden also offer drop in options.

Getting around:

We can provide a 14seater Hiace mini bus with driver for $85 USD = 1.200.000 IDR for 8 hours or $55 US = 800.000 IDR for 5 hours. Alternatively, the staff can help rent a motorbike. Prices range from $5.5 USD = 80.000 IDR for a standard Vario to $18 US = 250.000 IDR for the more premium Nmax.

Beautiful villas for our group – we were 13 people in total and split between the two villas. We loved the professional service, the TV rooms and the location. It was very easy to go for brunch or dinner and we had a lot of options. Also, we could walk to the beach and beach clubs which was very convenient for us. We had 2 couples with kids that also found handy the location as there were some kid friendly restaurants such as Milu and Milk n Madu very near. One day we booked a day trip with Bali Comfy Trips to go to Uluwatu and Nusa Dua beaches and ended up having seafood dinner at Jimbran which I highly highly recommend.

The villas were incredible. The staff were also very professional, very helpful and always met our expectations. The garden at the one villa was a nice touch and so were the pool table and massage bed at the other villa. We highly recommend these villas for a bigger group.

This is a gem of two properties and a bargain. Lovely staff and vibe, clean bedrooms. In general, two very nice chill out villas that certainly hit the spot. We spent some time in the TV rooms around noon, watching series on Netflix and binging out. We really liked the fact that we could walk to the beach. Basically, almost everything in Berawa including our favourite restaurants – Nude and Lusa – were pretty much within walking distance or 1-2 minutes by scooter. These villas are definitely recommended.
